In Ertz 2008-10, the author asserts that the painting was made in collaboration with both Jan Brueghel the Younger (1601-1678) and an unidentified student of Peter Paul Rubens, Cat. 478, p. 1010.
A variant by Jan Brueghel I or Jan Brueghel II (76.2 x 63.5 cm) in the Metropolitan Museum, New York, formerly attributed to Daniel Seghers.
